Challenge

Scheduling home visits is a complex and critical operation, with two major challenges:​

  1. Allocate the right professional, with the right skills, to the right patient, at the right time.
  2. Optimise the routing and scheduling of those professionals in the community, minimising travel time, improving utilisation and the patient experience.

Solution

Through a Innovate UK grant, we deployed Satalia Field Service at the North London Foundation Trust to prioritise their homecare visits. Having understood the requirements to deploy AI within the NHS, we adapted and deployed the system in less than 2 weeks with demonstrable improvements to scheduling. ​
