All DFS sofas are made to order, and different suppliers have different lead times. To maximise warehouse throughput, they needed to predict when products would likely arrive in the warehouse.

Our system analyses patterns in historical lead time data, and aims to answer: What leads to a delayed lead time? What leads to early delivery and how does this change by time of year, or supplier? What impact does the weather have on arrival times? Using these insights, DFS can improve warehouse throughput, and provide customers with more accurate delivery times.
